AP Calculus: The purpose of this assignment is to review the trigonometry and algebra skills you will need to be successful in AP Calculus. Unfortunately, the pdfs I have do not contain logarithms. You will also need to know logs and exponential functions, the properties, the graphs, the domain and range, and how to convert from exponential to logarithmic form.

Download and read the START HERE document NOW. You should start the actual review homework towards the end of the summer. This does not mean procrastinate! This means take the time in August (or July if you have family vacation planned) to make sure that you are prepared for the upcoming AP class." ***See the various documents just below (under AP Chemistry document)

WHAT MAKES THIS COURSE INTERESTING?

  • Strengthen the effectiveness of your writing through close reading and frequent practice at applying rhetorical strategies, analyzing information from source texts, and writing arguments
  • Become a critical reader of (predominantly) nonfiction works, including expository, argumentative, analytical, and personal texts from various authors and time periods
  • Learn about the elements that define effective argument and composition through the critical analysis and interpretation of complex texts.

Understand the interactions among a writer’s purpose, audience, subject, and genre, and how each of these contributes to effective writing.  Improve your own writing skills and understand better each stage of the writing process as you develop various compositions.
