About me:
My path to education was never a direct path.  I was an intended engineering major (I still love math!), a case manager for attorneys in the Public Defender's office supporting youth, a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster youth, and a social worker on the south side of Chicago.  Nonetheless, the common theme in my journey (minus the few engineering and math classes) has been about serving youth.

Upon my return from the windy city, I founded a school for recent immigrants in SFUSD, was a counselor and AVID Teacher/District Director in Half Moon Bay, and most recently an Assistant Principal at San Lorenzo High School.  I'm thrilled to be continuing my journey in the south bay, especially as an Assistant Principal at Prospect High School!

Best part of my job:
Working with students and families is always the best part of the job.

Tips for success @ PHS:
Be an advocate for yourself... and never let anyone tell you you can't, because you most definitely can.

Something interesting about me:
My first language was Japanese, but now I speak Spanish... and I played D1 soccer at Cal.
