Hello Incoming and Current Prospect Panther Athletes!!

We are continuing our online registration process again this year for the upcoming school year. All students interested in playing a sport must follow the directions below. Prospect High School uses Home Campus to manage all sports clearances. Please ensure you follow all the steps below to register for the upcoming athletic program.

Important Requirement: All students must be fully registered, including uploading a current physical dated after June 1st, 2026, before participating in practices or contests.

The Athletic Physical Examination Form can be found below and must be completed by your doctor. We will also have a doctor on campus to perform physicals periodically throughout the school year (see the sidebar for date, time, and location). The cost is $30 (cash only).

All athletes and parents must visit the Home Campus login page to create an account before becoming eligible for tryouts. Please refer to the instructions attachment below.

 

Online Athletic Clearance FAQ

What if I play multiple sports? (Click to Expand)
  • Once you complete a clearance for one sport and reach the Confirmation Message, you will have the option to check off additional sports or activities for the current school year.
  • If you decide to participate in an additional sport later on, you can access the multiple sport check boxes by clicking "Print" under the Confirmation Message of your original clearance for that specific year.
What do I do about physicals? (Click to Expand)
  • The physical form can be downloaded above. This form must be filled out by your doctor.
  • We will also have a doctor on campus to provide physicals for $25 (cash only). Please check this page for upcoming dates.
  • We accept physicals online by uploading the completed form in Step #1 above. You must also turn in a hard copy to the athletic department.
Why haven’t I been cleared? (Click to Expand)
  • The school will review your submitted information and either Clear or Deny the student for participation.
  • You will receive an automated email notification once the student has been cleared.
What do I do if my sport is not listed? (Click to Expand)
  • Please contact the school’s athletic department to request that your sport be activated.

 

NEW REQUIREMENT: HEART SCREENING FAQs

We are excited to announce that the CUHSD Board of Trustees approved an agreement with the Kyle J. Taylor Foundation (KJTF) to provide Heart Screenings for athletes. All 9th and 11th grade athletes are required to have an electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) heart screening as part of their athletic clearance.

What do 9th and 11th grade athletes need to do?

Athletes in grades 9 and 11 must obtain a heart screening prior to participation in sports:

  • Through Your Physician: Request a specific ECG/EKG; standard sports physicals often do not include this.
  • On-Campus with KJTF: Complete the screening for $20 at any CUHSD or LGSUHSD school site.

Frequency & Registration

  • How Often: This screening is required every two years (specifically for 9th and 11th grade clearance).
  • Where to Register: Sign up for on-campus screenings at kylejtaylor.org/screenings.
  • Flexible Locations: You may attend a screening at any district site, not just your home school.

SPORTS DONATIONS & FEES

Want to pay for your sports donation online? Visit the Panther Web Store to submit your donation.

You can also pay your sports donation in person at the Activities Office during break, lunch, and after school.
