Sophomores (10th Grade)

Welcome to your sophomore year!

With your first year of high school under your belt, now is the time to start thinking about the future.

Unsure of your skills or interests? Consider which classes you are most engaged in, or where you excel academically. This year, you will utilize personality surveys to identify career paths that align with your unique profile.

Engagement & Exploration: Beyond the classroom, maintain your grades and stay active in athletics, community service, or clubs. We encourage you to visit local colleges—large and small, public and private—to begin visualizing your life after graduation.

Academic Rigor: Are you challenging yourself? Consider enrolling in an Honors or AP course. Your School Counselor is available to help you plan a schedule that demonstrates the effort and growth colleges look for in a transcript.
