We look forward to meeting all of you in August and want to make sure you have important information as you wrap up your 8th grade year and head off for summer.
Address Verification
Still need to verify your address? All incoming 9th graders who have verified their addresses will receive CUHSD mail over the summer with more information regarding their Aeries Parent Portal, Emergency Card Updates, and PHS important dates.
If you have yet to verify your address, please come by the Main Office between 9am-3pm (office is closed from 12-1pm) August 7th & 8th. We will also be hosting an evening opportunity on August 7th from 5-7pm in the Main Office.
***Please note that students who have yet to verify address will not be able to participate in Freshman Orientation.

Freshman Orientation
On August 9th @ 9:00am, we will be hosting an orientation for our incoming 9th grade students where you will get a tour of campus, learn how to navigate our halls and lunch line, and meet some of our Link Crew leaders! You will also receive your ID card, your school-issued chromebook that you will keep for your high school career here at Prospect, and your schedule.
More information will be emailed over the summer to give you specific details of the event.
PE Uniforms
All 9th grade students will be enrolled in our Physical Education class! As part of the class requirements, Prospect PE students will be expected to dress out in our fabulous PE uniforms. PE clothes can be purchase through our student store online and picked up with a receipt during Freshmen Orientation in August.

Prospect is on a block schedule that includes a study hall period Tuesdays-Friday; every Monday is collaboration schedule with an early release of 1:40pm. Study Hall is a period where students have the opportunity to check in with teachers, make up assignments and exams, as well as have time to get homework done.

Prospect High School has a robust athletics program that will be conducting a number of summer session for Fall Sports. To prepare for summer training, please see flyer enclosed, or check out our website on How to Participate. Summer Office Hours
The main office is open until June 21, 2023 from 8am - 3pm (closed from 12-1pm) and will be closed for summer. The main office will reopen July 31st.
