hey there Panthers mr. pins are here and I want to wish everybody out there happy New Year I hope 2021 has been you very well so far and I hope all the holiday celebrations that you enjoyed were we're safe and I hope you and all your loved ones are are happy and healthy as well wanted to send these quick updates before we it started with a brand new semester tomorrow number one just a reminder we are still idiots higher bear is still under a stay-at-home order so please please please help us get through this panda can protect each other by staying at home as much as possible you really only should leave the house for the essential things that you really need to go and get your food go and get the medicine Healthcare that you need and if you need our support your education is just as essential and we're going to be working hard throughout the first month of the semester to bring you additional support and services here on campus so that you can have a very successful semester and finish this year strong and stay on track for graduating and being ready for college when you do grad wait so please be mindful of the stay-at-home hoarder and know that on campus your prospect we have all the safety measures in place with social distancing and masking and everything to make sure that you can be supported because your education is just as essential as well now when you do come to campus things are going to look a little different on the staff parking lot side and I'm going to show you that right now this is the driveway at English Road and if you're a member of the community that's visiting School you do not want to use this driveway because as you can and see we have construction fencing that is up on this side of campus and it covers pretty much this entire parking lot this is the fencing for the demolition of the cafeteria and the construction of what will eventually be our brand new student union so this area that is going to be pretty much in Thai really blocked off for construction now to help with your reference point I'm basically standing right across from Mister Manning's room room 13 so this will give you a sense of just how large fencing is because our student union is the largest single project to happen under the measure ee Bond and it's going to get started in Earnest in just a couple of weeks so please do not use the second driveway campus use our main entrance at the light at Lyle and be aware that the the parking that we have on this side under the solar panels that is going to be exclusively staff parking there will be no visitor parking here under the solar panel if you do need to come to campus and to come into the office you should Park along the white curb right in front of the office parallel park you got the whole wide curve we can easily fit five or six cars in front so visitors please do park at the white curb in front of the office when you do come out and student art bell schedule has not changed the we are starting this semester with the same bell schedule that we had last semester so if you have a 0 Fury class tomorrow that's going to start at 7:40 in the morning and your first-period classes going to start at 9 a.m. so keep the same bell schedule keep going to classes at the same time that's what we're starting the semester with we haven't made any changes to the schedule as of yet a couple of other quick announcements before I those of you that are in svcte Silicon Valley Career Technical education classes those will not start tomorrow they will start on Tuesday January 5th Sonu svcte classes tomorrow on they get started Tuesday on the 5th secondly I am having a coffee talk for parents and families a cafecito Friday morning 8 to 9 a.m. that's going to be on zoom and you can find the link for that in the events calendar on our website speaking up you really need to bookmark our website Prospect. Cuhsd.org if you go to the Cal page you can see the zoom length for a lot of the virtual events that we're having and you can also get regular updates as the plan for coming back onto campus and bringing students back onto campus those plans evolve we will be posting regular updates on our website so please make sure that you bookmark prospect. Cuhsd.org that is where all the most up-to-date information is going to be posted including our weekly bulletin which are video production classes are putting together every week they're doing a great job and we have lots of announcements for students and for parents and families in there we have the bulletin bailable in English Spanish and Mandarin as well so make sure you mark the weekly bulletin page as well so everybody stays up to date please stay tuned again bookmark our website so a die you can stay in the know alright I look forward to seeing all of you virtually or perhaps on campus in the very near future please stay healthy and stay safe and I mean stay home as much as you can I will see you soon I promise all right have a great semester everybody and go Panther
