SCHOOL REPORTS

Each year, Prospect compiles a School Profile, which provides a synthesized, yet in-depth glimpse of the Panther community, including student body demographics, honors and AP offerings, SAT and ACT composite averages, a list of where recent graduates have gone to college, and more. The School Profile is shared with colleges and universities to provide context to an admissions reader.

The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is required by the State of California and is published annually. This report includes demographic data, school safety information, academic achievement data, class sizes, teacher and staff information, curriculum and instruction information, and fiscal and expenditure data.

District high schools undergo an accreditation process under the auspices of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). WASC accreditation is an ongoing six-year cycle of quality whereby schools demonstrate the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement. During this cycle, Prospect compiles a self-study report which examines and evaluates Prospect's entire academic and extra-curricular program, and includes an action plan with measurable goals that our school works toward completing. A WASC Visiting Committee validates the contents of the self-study report and writes a Visiting Committee Report with their observations. The committee then makes a confidential recommendation to the WASC Commission about Leigh's accreditation status. Our most recent WASC visit was in 2015.
