2026-27 Course Change Requests
Course Change Requests will be accepted from August 3rd-August 25th at 4 pm. Students may request to change and/or drop a class from their schedule. Schedule changes are never guaranteed, and school counselors will do their best to make adjustments per availability.
Students must attend their current schedule until they receive notification from their school counselor if/when their schedule has been changed. Email requests to school counselors or administrators will not be reviewed. Students must be logged into their CUHSD email account to submit the form. After 4 pm on August 25, schedule requests will be reviewed by counselors to determine if adjustments can be made. Immediate adjustments will be made for ONLY the following reasons below:
- • Two classes during the same period (i.e. two 2nd periods)
- • Multiple same subjects listed on schedule (i.e. two English 1 classes)
- • A gap in the schedule (i.e. no 2nd or 5th period)
- • Missing a graduation requirement (i.e. no English class)
- • Wrong level per transcript and course sequences (i.e. scheduled into Spanish 3, but only completed Spanish 1)
- • Completed summer coursework
- • Has fewer than 5 classes (12th graders) or 6 classes (9-11 graders)
