This week’s most significant event is Back to School Night, taking place this Thursday, August 28, beginning at 6:00 pm in the Quad. We encourage all of our families to attend. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and get a sense of what your child experiences daily when they come to school. It is also a chance to meet other families. We will provide some light refreshments for families, as well as child care, if you need to bring your other children with you. There will also be translation services for families who need them. We are trying to do all we can to make attending the event as convenient as possible for all the families. The event concludes after the 7th period ends at 8:00 pm.
If you can, please print out or write down your child’s class schedule and bring it with you on Thursday so you know where to go each period. There is an attached document you can fill in for their class schedule, or you can take a picture of the schedule and bring that with you on Thursday. We will be able to print out schedules for families who need them that evening, but it makes everything move smoothly if you bring the schedule with you. You can view your child’s class schedule in Canvas or in AERIES.
