8th Grade Parent Night: Prospect welcomes the parents of the Class of 2014 to Incoming Freshmen Class Parent Information Night on Monday, February 8 from 6:30-8pm in the Prospect Gym.  Come and learn all about Prospect, meet the teachers and students, and get a campus tour.  Please see the Incoming Freshmen Class Parent Information Night Agenda for more details. 

 

 

PTSA Meeting: The next meeting of the Prospect PTSA is on Tuesday, February 9 at 7 p.m. in the Faculty Lounge.  Royce Peterson, our CUHSD board member rep, will be discussing possible cuts that the board is looking at.  Your attendance at this meeting is important.  Our parent finance rep will be there and will take your input to the district finance committee meeting the following day.

 

Collaboration Days: Just a reminder that Wednesday, 2/10 and Thursday 2/11 are late start, Collaboration days.  The Main Office will be closed for a collaboration meeting until 9:20 on Wednesday.

Please support Grad Night 2010 by either dining in or taking out from Red Robin on Wednesday, February 10th from 4:00 – 10 PM. You must present a flyer at the time of your food purchase in order for Grad Night to get credit for your order.  Flyers are available in the Main Office, Student Service Center and Activities Office or can be printed from School Loop.

 

 

SAT PREP CLASSES AT PROSPECT FOR SPRING 2010: Lower Registration price of $249 has been extended until February 12th!! Price will go up to $299 on February 13th!!  Please see Ms. Potts in Room 2 for registration forms

 

SENIOR REMINDER and WORKSHOP: Please remember, FAFSA and CAL GRANT applications must be filed by March 2nd (some colleges require this by Feb 15th). You should have already turned in your GPA Release Form to your counselor! Attend the annual "CASH FOR COLLEGE" workshop on Saturday, Feb 27th, from 9am to 2pm, at West Valley College. See the Guidance Page for details.

 

 

Tickets are now available for PHS Theatre Arts production of “Chicago”! Buy your tickets now because this show will sell out. Prices are $8.00 with ASB and $10.00 general. See Mr. Meeker in room 51 for info and tickets. “Chicago” opens March 12th. Don’t be disappointed, buy your tickets now!
