When requesting schedule changes parents are to email counselors directly for corrections:

Correction changes will take place based on the following criteria:

  • Have TWO classes the same period
  • Gap in the schedules
  • Mis-placement in the wrong level
  • Missing a required class for graduation
  • Less than FIVE classes

Changes to schedules will NOT be made based on the following:

  • Requesting a different elective
  • Dropping a Honors or AP class
  • Wanting a different teacher
  • Requesting an off period

Parents to email their student’s counselor regards the change by August 7th 2020.

You may see a "Teacher Outreach" class that is listed on your student's schedule for 8th period.

If you've seen the district's recent "Back to School" community newsletter, the bell schedule listed "Teacher Check-In" during the 10:10 and 2:10 time slots on Wednesdays. (The bell schedule is now on our website. - Click "Distance Learning 20-21" at the top, and then "Bell Schedule Fall 2020" on the right.)

The 8th period on your schedule coincides with these check-in times on Wednesday. So you and your student can see which teacher they will need to check-in with. Attendance for this check-in time is mandatory and teachers will mark absences the same as other classes.  However, this is meant to be a time for us to make sure every student is accessing their classwork, managing their time, and staying safe and healthy. It is a time period focused on support more than academics.

The details surrounding this "Outreach" time will be discussed with your Outreach teacher.  If you have questions, please email your teacher directly.  Teacher emails can be found here.

Click here for the Bell Schedule for Fall 2020.

The Outreach Cohort is your 8th period on your schedule. On the first day of school, your teacher will inform you which time you will be meeting - AM or PM. For further details about this period, please reference "What is Teacher Outreach Cohort?"
