Distance Learning: Instruction

Guidance provided by the Santa Clara County Public Health Officer on June 30, 2020 for the reopening of schools recommends physical distancing with face coverings for all high school students and staff. The implications of these guidelines on classroom instruction, along with the time and costs associated with new health and safety protocols, have refocused the district’s recommendations around the likelihood of a continued COVID-19 pandemic that would not allow for in-person instruction. Thus the recommendation is that all students return to Fall Semester in a distance learning model.
