Chinese-American Chamber of Commerce of Santa Clara Valley

Three scholarships of $500 each to three graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent who have exhibited great academic abilities and commitment to community service. Applicant must submit no more than 500 words on “Is China’s One Family One Child policy necessary?” and a handwritten autobiography in 100 words or less. Delta Upslion Fraternity, California Chapter

The Charlie Cords Memorial Scholarship is offered to male students entering UC Berkeley during the 2007-08 school year. Awards are up to $2000 per student. Recipients of these awards will be selected based on academic and extracurricular achievement, and more importantly, on personal qualities relating to the Delta Upsilon organization (promotion of friendship, development of character, diffusion of liberal culture, advancement of justice).

Berkeley Student Foundation

Available to students who have applied to the UC Berkeley.  Scholarships are $1,000 for each year of attendance at the University and may be renewed at the end of each academic year, provided that the recipients meet certain minimum requirements.

100 scholarships to be awarded to students planning to take 4 year degrees in the chemical sciences. Up to $2500 per scholarship for freshmen.
